I wasn't expected anything grand so I am not disappointed. The cabinet serves my purposes and I'm grateful for that but it is made of thin metal (shake rattle and roll it reminds me of what I've read about WW2 bombers: they were rattle-traps). But I wasn't expecting anything better. And I like its being on wheels. I may not be happy but I am satisfied.

It seems as if it is made of a more light weight material than what I remember file cabinets being made of. When you pull the drawer to open it the whole cabinet moves forward because its on wheels. It needed to be heavier to prevent this from happening. I only give it 3 Stars.

The perfect file cabinet! Can be used with or w/o casters. The casters do not have a lock. I just turned them perpendicular and I don't have a problem. I prefer the casters as it allows me to easily move the cabinet if something falls behind it or if I want to rearrange my room. I really like the metal file guides inside. No more fretting with trying to keep your file folder hangers from falling off. I purchased one cabinet and then came back for a second. I have one on each side of a hutch desk. I ordered pearl white and the color matchers perfectly with my off white wood desk. The Hirsh Industries 2 Drawer Vertical Mobile File Cabinet is a great bargain for small investment.
