Seems sturdy enough for light use. Since we have it set on tile flooring it rolls too easily whenever it is pushed -like when I push in an open drawer. However of it was on carpet his would be completely fine because the carpet friction would be enough to prevent it from rolling

The team at the Yorba Linda Staples store were very helpful. The 2 drawer file cabinet was on sale for a reasonable price in stock and fits nicely in my home office. the drawers slide smoothly and the construction seems to be good.
