I purchased this small cabinet to house business papers on the first floor because the office is on the 2nd floor. It is very light weight and has a very flimsy lock but will serve our purpose to keep private paperwork out of sight organized and clean. After having purchased 3 or 4 more substantial file cabinets I see a great deal of difference with this one.

Good Home/Home Office file cabinets

They are attractive and nicely mobile for home use. They are somewhat smaller than professional office sized file cabinets which means they will fit in smaller spaces. Definitely a plus for me. Do not expect them to be as sturdy as the much more expensive file cabinets. If you are going to give them much more rugged use the more expensive ones will probably be cheaper in the long run. These are excellent for the price and for lighter usage.

I purchased returned and then ordered this two drawer file cabinet. The first cabinet that I purchased at the store was locked and there was no key to get in it and the drawer handles and wheels were not accessible. I returned it to the store and then placed an order at the store for a second one. The second one arrived at my home and was significantly dented so I returned it. I am reluctant to purchase an item from Staples that I cannot not inspect prior to purchasing it.

Great small cabinet

This little cabinet is what we were looking for small but still with enough storage and locker and looks like a nightstand. We bought it for our 8 years old grand son so he can hide his "valuables" from his little siblings. The best have casters.
