I like to use different colors with the children. They can locate things easier when looking for a specific color of paper (for example look for the song on the blue paper).

Beats Reading Black Ink on White Paper!

I have a hard time reading black ink on white paper. This relaxes my eyes and makes it much easier. The green pastel works great for me too. If you find black on white contrast difficult- check it out!
