I like this cardstock when it prints. The main problem is that when less than a stack of 20 sheets are loaded on a canon MX870 the cardstock either won't be recognized or jams on loading.

Staples is using deceptive language.

Beware the 110lb weight rating of this card stock is based on INDEX weight not COVER STOCK weight which is what cardstock weights are typically given in. Meaning that if you went to a professional printer or stationery and asked for 110 lb cardstock the paper they would give you is about 50% thicker than this stuff that Staples is calling "110 lb." I guess it's technically not false advertising since they don't actually specify which weight basis they are using but it certainly plays on the average buyer's lack of knowledge about paper/cardstock weight ratings. How did I figure this out? Because 110 lb cover stock has a density of 298 grams/meter squared but Staples glorified copier paper has a density of 199 g/m^2. Big difference when you're trying to use it for an application that requires a stiff heavy paper. My recommendation is to visit a real print or stationery shop if you need something substantial.

The 110 lb weight card stock is sooooo much more substantial than the regular card stock and therefore is suitable for many uses - postcards photographs presentations greeting cards signs etc etc.

As a card maker I am always looking for quality card stock especially for my card base. This is a great product for such a use. The card base is nice and sturdy stamps well and when using the Cricut it makes qreat cuts. When using card stock for cards 110 lb. is excellent and I found the Staples brand smooth for all my purposes and at a great price that's the best part.
