Not all cardstock is created equal. I used various cardstock from many stores and settled on this as the best. Walmart cardstock is a little cheaper but will not give you the print quality as this stock.
I generally like to keep card stock on hand. One of the best colors to use as a staple is ivory. I use it to make things such as signs name cards mailable post cards greeting cards program covers and the like. I find that the card stock I get from Staples is perfect. The color does not have a yellow color yet has an antique-y look. The weight of the card stock is not too stiff nor is it too flimsy. It goes through my printer without causing any jams and is easy to fold. I also find Staples' cost to be very reasonable.
I prefer buying the cover stock over the card stock because you get more for your money. The card stock is a little nicer in quality but for most purposes the cover stock works just as well.
I purchased this card stock to do a post card mailing using the Post Office's Every Day Direct Mail (EDDM) program. This 110 lb stock was the perfect weight not flimsy. It accepted the ink very well. I printed on both sides. The paper has a mat finish.
My daughter is getting married on Saturday and we made diy programs which double as fans (since a wedding in July in Virginia is likely to be pretty warm!) We printed it with our home printer...print quality/color is wonderful. Then folded in half sprayed with spray adhesive put a tongue depressor/craft stick between the two pieces and came up with a beautiful program. When the guests sit down on Saturday it's nice to know they'll have sturdy fans to keep cool while also knowing what is happening next! Thanks for keeping your quality Staples!
