Lost adhesive quality before use

I went to use a second hook from this package, and found that ALL the adhesive is no longer sticky AT ALL. The strips are dried out and yellowed. This made me very sad because it meant I couldn't do the project I was about to do for my son's birthday. It also made me think that perhaps the first hook I installed fell off not long after I put it up NOT because it was installed in a shower bathroom... but because in fact the adhesive simply was not formulated to last. This package is NOT old at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sticky Fail

I purchased these last month to hang up garland for Christmas. I have used these in the past and they have worked great. They must have changed the adhesive. The adhesive now is clear and thin and does not stick to anything. The ones in the past were a sticky white foam adhesive.
I cleaned off the area first and let the adhesive stick for awhile. I hung up the garland and hooks came falling off! Ugh!

Great hooks but adhesive turned yellow,won't stick

Love these hooks for small things, however after 1 year the adhesive turned yellow, crumbled and won’t stick anymore. So now I’m stuck with all these hooks and no glue strips to use them. Very disappointing.

Have to repair and paint wall after using

Purchased from Target Dec 2023. Followed instructions to hang lights in room.
1. about 1/4 of them would fall off throughout the month while the lights were up
2. 3 months later i'm taking them off and the paint and sheetrock is coming off.
Will not buy again. Have to repair and repaint the wall. I question if anyone really uses this product, as it would rip their walls up.

Not a good product at all.

Junk, junk, junk. I bought these to hang my diecast car collection on the wall. I followed the directions, and with the 205 cars I have displayed almost 30 have fallen off the wall. I had to buy automotive double sided tape to stick the cars to the wall every morning when I get up first thing I do is check the floor for fallen cars. Same thing when I get back from work.

I bought these because I am down sizing to a one bedroom flat and I needed to hang small items but when I opened them all of the sticky parts were dry and yellow. No stick whatsoever.

I purchased these a few weeks ago to hang Christmas lights on my walls and they are awful. They keep falling off. I followed all the directions have use these every year but this year they just don’t wanna stick.

They get you hooked with style and a good hold

The mini hooks are perfectly clear light plastic and comes with the needed strips to adhere to the surface so that you can place the hook and your art or something lightweight, the cool thing is the strips can be reused and if done correctly they remove with no damages to the wall even a painted one. They are great for keeping small things in an organized space. You get 12 hooks and 16 strips per package which is great for a more linear design
I would recommend this to a friend!
