Very disappointing

I buy command hooks every year for my Christmas lights, but this year I am so disappointed. Almost all my lights have fallen off the wall and and when I was applying the strips I had to use a almost all of the extra strips because they weren't sticking enough as soon as I took the cover off. I cleaned my walls to make sure that wasn't it and they still wouldn't stick. I don't know if they changed something this year but I am very disappointed to spend the money on something that won't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Falls off quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made two attempts to hang a lightweight wreath made of dried flowers on the inside of my front door. The wreath had belonged to my mother who recently passed away. I wanted to cherish her memory and display it on my door. I hung a mini hook and did not put the wreath up for 24 hours. That evening the wreath was on the floor. I tried using two mini hooks to attach the wreath to the door a second time. This time it lasted for three days and once again crashed to the floor, hooks and all. The wreath is featherweight and now is missing a few of the dried flowers as a consequence of the fall. I am going to ask my husband to put in a sturdy nail for safety and successful hanging. I would not recommend these hooks for hanging anything.

I bought these to hang simple decorations on my mantle. They keep falling off and I've had a few broken decorations because of it. I followed the instructions to the letter. I don't know if it's a different adhesive formula or what, but I am super disappointed with the clear hooks.

Extremely upset - walls are ruined!

I am extremely upset with this hooks. I used them (6 total) to hang up a few very lightweight paper banners, which were left up for one week. Upon taking them down, the "strip" that you pull down broke on 4 of the 6. As I tried to gently wiggle the command hook off of the wall - layers of paint came up with the hooks. Now I have 4 paint-less "holes" on my wall (which was newly painted only 4 months ago) about 3/4" diameter. I will never use these again.

While we don't expect the tab to tear when pulled straight down slowly we do have a recommendation when it does happen to prevent removal damage. Using a piece of dental floss will allow you to get between the hook and the wall in order to remove the product without removing the paint which pulling or prying will cause. Great for Christmas Decorating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these last year to decorate for Christmas. Loved them so much I saved the hooks. Unfortunately I can't find just the strips to reuse them, so I had to buy new ones this year. Now I have a bunch of extra hooks!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Warning

I bought this product with the intention of hanging pictures. Bad idea! Who reads the warning on the back of the package before purchase. They look like picture hooks. Needless to say, they are not designed for hanging pictures. My fault for not reading the warning. My precious pictures of my beautiful children have been, one by one, falling off of the wall, sometimes breaking. I give it one star for not putting the warning on the front of the package instead of in the fine print of a warning on the back of the package. Bad experience. I wonder if humidity had anything to do with it.

Happy, but not so happy

Have used 3M hooks and other products before, but this one time after I tried to use them, I hung up a picture/frame and the hooks and picture fell off the wall. When it fell off the wall, it took paint/plaster off of my apartment wall. Not too happy. I still use 3M products but only for certain things.
