Defective

The adhesive on the strips is defective. It has no "stickiness". The strip just slides right off. I can't use any of them.

Don't waste your time or money

I bought these in the beginning of December thinking they compared to the mini white hooks. They absolutely do not. The mini white hooks I put up no problem at all, they're still holding my lights I out up 2 weeks prior to the clear ones I bought. I bought the 18/24 pack and by the time I hung up the 2nd clip, the first one fell. I then went through and prepped the spots I was going to put them. That didn't help either. In less then 2 weeks they have all fallen down and I learned my lesson not to buy the clear strips because they are NOT the same.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We do offer the Mini Hooks in the General Purpose and Clear and have some similarities and some differences. The adhesive formula is the same but due to the thinner profile of the Clear Strips, they will work best on flat smooth surface that are painted and do not recommend using on textured surfaces. Along with applying the clear strip to the surface first, then adding the hook. In addition to the rest of the strips. Did not stick

I bought these recently to use in my home. When I tried to apply the strip to the wall there was no adhesive on the strip. All of the strips I tried were the same way. I was not at all happy with this product. Usually Command Strips are my go to for hanging things in my house.

No adhesive

I have a pack of 18 clear hooks with 24 small strips (17006CLR-VP). There is no adhesive at all on either side of the strip. Product is unusable. Waste of money. Product not as described and not fit for purpose.

I didn't like it

I bought these a while ago and I expected them to not damage my walls. I used the hooks as intended and almost everyday the thing I hung up would fall down and take my paint right off! When I would put the refill on the back and try again the hook wouldn't stick because it previously peeled the paint off to dry wall.

I tried attaching them to a cabinet in the bathroom to hang a scrub pad and the hook failed to even stick to the cabinet!

Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These hooks are very easy to use with clear instructions. I like that there are extra sticky strips so that you can change the location of the hook if you mis-calculate the location. I suggest that the hooks are used for medium or small pieces, as they didn't work as well with larger or heavier paintings. I can confirm that the removal of the hooks is very easy and did not damage my paint or dry wall at all. Very convenient if you are renting a place or have walls that would not work well with nails (my friend used these on his indoor concrete walls).
I would recommend this to a friend!
