the rubber bands are used to wrap up electrical and misc cords for items that are on sale and in storage for safety purposes.

There is NO WAY to guess how many rubberbands are in the package. Even an approximate would have helped. I knew that I needed 500 rubberbands and had to buy 2 packages and return one after I was sure I wouldn't need it.

Meet postal specifications for bulk mailings. Very stretchy very little breakage. Beat the heck out the the ones the post office used to provide to bulk mailers!
