Nice practical compact shredder for home office

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very sturdy built while compacted sizing shredder it doesn’t just slice the paper but literally chews it up into tiny pieces. The higher level of confidentiality makes it perfect to protect your privacy and other office needs. Pros: 1. Very compact size. It’s about two-thirds the size of a regular shredder I will say it’s around the size of an air fryer. It definitely takes less space and since it is shorter it makes more convenient and practical to put it on a desk. 2. The micro-cut. It cuts paper or cards into very small and fine pieces about black bean sizes flakes. It definitely gives better protection on your documents and data. There is no way you can put the documents back together once you shred them so be really careful and double check before you put them in there. 3. Strong shredder while operating quiet. The shredder can easily chew up 12 sheet of regular printing paper or any credit cards. The noise is not too loud nor too sharp. Since the shredding process is very fast I really don’t mind the sound. Cons: 1. The shredder is fairly heavy for its size. The weight makes it very sturdy but also hard to move. I wish it had two grips or handles on the side for the ease of taking out of the package or moving around. 2. Might be too much to ask but I wish it is cordless.

Compact powerhouse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shredder gets the job done!! I appreciate that it is relatively compact. We have it under our home office desk and use it to shred old bills and anything else with personal info. A friend of ours was a victim of identity theft so we take prevention very seriously. This shredder impressively handles up to 12 sheets at once; even the staples!! (This was the last favorite part of our old one--manually removing all the stabples!) It shreds into such tiny pieces that it would be virtually impossible for someone to piece it together. I have zero worries about our personal info with this! The bin is good size and we haven't had to empty it yet after weeks of use. It is loud during use but this isn't a dealbreaker---I've yet to come across a "quiet" shredder. It is solidly built and I see us using this for years!

Serious shredding power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shredder is a huge upgrade from our previous one! It’s extremely efficient: we collect a stack of documents receipts etc. over several weeks and then shred a bunch at once. It was quite tedious feeding documents in 1-2 at a time with our old shredder. Now I can confidently grab a big stack and shred many papers at once. Our old shredder just produced strips. The Mailmate does a much better job chopping into extra tiny pieces. I even put an expired credit card though and it was pulverized. You can rest assured things are destroyed. The pull-out bin is great. We were previously using old grocery bags to (attempt to…) collect the pieces; now it’s a quick disposal. And the big is big enough to accept several sessions of shredding. It’s intuitive to use with clear controls and easy-to-reach buttons. And noise level is very tolerable. But keep in mind it’s heavy. I’m not lugging this around the house but we keep it in small storage nook and it’s certainly hefty/bit challenging to wrestle in and out. Overall easy-to-use high-efficiency 5-star shredder.

Seriously Spectacular Shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleased to say that I was thrilled with the performance of this mini-shredder. I found that the amount of paper I grabbed naturally easily fit through the shredder at once. I loved that I didn’t have to empty the container each shred since there is plenty of storage space for the shredded paper. This machine is also quick and efficient. There isn’t any waiting around for the documents to shred which is lovely since we all have things to accomplish! The size of this little guy is amazing. It fits so nicely underneath one side of our desk. It’s compact enough to be discreetly placed. Lastly the noise was obviously noticeable not unbearably loud or intolerable. In comparison to other shredders it’s more of a hum. I am very happy with our shredder use it frequently and would definitely recommend this product.
