BIC before you INK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first tried out my free BIC Gel-ocity Quick Dry Gel Pens on the enclosed card I received in my Smiley360 kit. Unfortunately, the ink did smear a bit after I was done writing. This was probably due to a few factors: 1) The card had a glossy coat on it and the gel pens weren't able to dry quickly on the smooth, slippery surface and 2) I am left-handed and my hand tends to drag across my writing which has always been an issue for me. #SouthPawProblems. Then I decided to test these vibrant-colored pens on a piece of standard stationary. I wrote out one of my favorite poems by Shel Silverstein called "Colors". I have to tell you, these gel pens totally blew me away. After each line, I ran my finger across the words and...NOTHING HAPPENED! Which means they are, in fact, true to their word and really do "dry 3x faster". I also noticed how the ink seemed to glide across my paper (which vastly improved my penmanship). The gel pens feature comfortable full grip barrels that cushion your finger as you hold them. BIC should advertise how amazing the quick drying ink is for left-handed people. I never have to worry about smearing the ink on my paper again. Thanks to BIC, I no longer have to think before I ink.
