Quick Dry Bright Gel Pens!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put these pens to the test. I got 3 BIC(r) Gel-ocity(r) Quick Dry gel pens as a free sample to try out from Smiley 360. I had my son color with them and I took them on a road trip to see how versatile they are and whether they really dry quickly. My teen son liked how smooth they colored, even if he complained that they were "girl" cutesy colors. He said they dried really fast to him but what do 15 year olds know? I want to see for myself so I took them with me on a cross-country trip to show to my family. I also collect rocks and decided to use the pens to document where and when I found each rock. I have trouble finding pens that will write on dirty rock especially ones with uneven surfaces. These pens did such a great job on the dusty desert rocks in Kansas, the salt covered Utah stones and the porous limestone pebbles in Indiana. The colors were so pretty as well. I usually have to use black markers. I was impressed with how quick the pen dried so I could toss the stones in a bag right away and get more. I am sold these are great. I hope they get some earthier tones as well for people who aren't into cutesy colors. I want a big set of these ASAP the crafting possibilities are endless. Not to mention the fun I am going to have using them to grade papers too.

Thesr gel pens definitly hold up to their name. Was amazed by how quickly they dry and smudging is no longer a worry. Me and my family love BIC Gelocity Quick dry Pens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited for these. I love fun, colored pens. I thought they wrote really well and loved how easily the ink flowed out. You did not have to press hard. The fine tip wrote very fine and was great to color with. The ink stayed where you wanted it and it did not spread out or bleed through. I seriously loved brightness of the colors. I thought it was great to have a purple, blue and pink. These would be great for girls. I hope they come out with other colors like a blue, green, orange or something more for more colors and to appeal to boys too. Plus the grip is very comfy and easy to hold and write with. Just make sure you take off the rubber like piece on the pin tip when you first get them. These are going to be great for my kids for school. They will jave so much fun. I'm going to get me some too so I can use them too. Definitely loved them. I did get these pens free from Smiley360 for reviewing purposes but the opinions and experiences here are my own.
