[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am quite particular about pens and when I get to try a new one I get pretty excited. I love the way the BIC Gelocity Quick Dry gel pens write. What do I look for in a pen....smooth, no skipping, no smudges and nice grip or feel in my fingers. This pen checks all the boxes and comes in fun colors too. I am so glad I received a free sample, bc I may have missed this one in the sea of pens at the store. BIC does a nice job with the packaging. The kids made a comment about that, and I think it will help people find it at the store.

I especially like to supplement colored pencils when coloring in adult coloring books. I also use gel pens a lot in art journals. They don't bleed through or smear.

The colors are great, the fact that it dries super fast and doesn't smear is very important for anyone that is left handed. This includes my daughter and son. My daughter right away took the purple one and is so excited to use it and share with others. I just can't say enough good things about these pens. Like they say, "try it, you'll like it". In this case you'll love it.
