Ink dries quickly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These new BIC Gelocity pens are awesome! I am always using one to write with as I love how smooth the writing is. Not to mention, the colors are fabulous! The biggest plus is that the ink dries incredibly fast. I have always avoided the gel pens because they smear way too much and make your writing look distorted and messy. I admit, if I hadn't received a free package to try, I probably wouldn't have ever bought these or gave them a chance. But, since using them, I will continue using them and replace them as they run out of ink! They are fabulous!

I love the vibrant colors and also they really do dry immediately upon contact with paper. Just remember to retract it when you are done because it will make a mess in your purse.

Not as good as I thought they would be

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These really do a great job as far as writing smoothly and the colors are awesome, but performance not as advertised. To test them I used the back of an Avon brochure which is made of a slightly glossy paper. I made five lines counting as I went and then went back and swiped my finger across... all lines smeared. I did the exact same thing with a generic pen and only the last three lines smeared with the first of the three barely smearing. I also noticed another problem. I had written on a freezer bag and placed in my refrigerator to label some chicken and when I took it out the writing was all but gone : ( So all in all not impressed but I do like them as far as regular writing goes.
