good color for information sheets

I enjoy using this type of paper in various colors for information sheets that I hand out at work. It's heavy enough to withstand multiple handlings yet not so heavy that it costs too much for my purposes. The quality is consistent. By watching for the sales of this paper at Staples I can keep a good supply of different colors on hand so that I can use the colors to differentiate the type of information on the page. This color the light yellow works well for information that needs to be easily read in a short time. The text stands out on this color better than many others.
I am a teacher and I love using this color of paper for my students' weekly homework logs. They cannot use the excuse "I can't find it" because you cannot help BUT find it. The parents know which paper their child needs to have as well. I also like how sturdy the paper is. It is not cardstock but holds up very well to the wear-and-tear of third grade hands and backpacks. Additionally I like that the print is easy to read. Often with colored paper it is hard to read text on them but this color affords enough contrast that you can easily read whatever is printed on it.
I teach two college classes and have no office at the college. The bright green (or any of the brights) assure me that when I grab a binder as I run out my front door I have the correct class records. I can also assure myself that my students have the latest information (I teach tax) and each semester the updated handout goes out on that semester's color.
Staples® Brights 24 lb. Orange Colored Paper was a "bright" purchase for several reasons: (1) the color is a shade of orange that is eye-catching that sets it apart from other printed documents and blends nicely with my oak desk top (2) the weight of the paper gives it substance sturdiness and a quality which extends its usefulness to items worth saving for future reference and (3) the quality of the paper is excellent for ink-jet printing--not too absorbant and resulting in a sharply printed look for both black lettering and visuals.
These colors get attention on bulletin boards and walls. I love the mix of hot and cool colors. The only down side is that you need very BOLD type and pictures to see them on the dark violet color. Violet might work better for craft activities or as a background color for white flyers.
I love the variety of colors which Staples offers in this 24 lb. paper. I buy it often for the brochures I print for my non-profit. Eye-catching and sturdy.
The private school that I am the principle at sends out papers to our parents weekly. We used thisfor summer camp brochures and the parents at the school seemed to pay Happy memorial day!!! May God bless all those serving or have served our great country and their families.more attention because of the bright color! We were very happy to be able to find a product that would be a easy way to add color and still be able to use our black and white copy machine instead of having to waste ink using the colored ink printer. We will defiantly use this product again next summer and also for future endeavors.
