I really enjoy this gel pen. It doesn't smear and carries the ink throughout writing for 95% of the time. I have found if you're writing on a hard surface the ink will pick up and miss a stroke or two but I normally write on a pad of paper and have zero problems. I will definitely purchase again.

Tru Red is my favorite brand of gel pens because the colors are vibrant and the ink dries quickly. I like all 3 colors — blue black and red. I especially like the blue ink. With a name like Tru Red people might mistakenly think that the only color of ink is red. Plus they have a good feel to them kind of a rubbery texture that makes them comfortable to hold.

I love pens and have used many different kinds but I believe that these are amazing! I loved that you highlight over them and they didn’t smudge. I haven’t experienced smudging from accidentally rubbing my hand over it while writing. They have this nice texture and I love the simple and professional look to them. Hope they add a wider variety of colors one day!
