The HD corrugated cardboard files boxes are stable and strong. They stack well.Even though there is not a rail you can hang files. The files will not slide but I think a layer of packing tape to smooth the edge will do it. I ordered the heavy duty file boxes because I had the tru red plastic file boxes by IRIS and the plastic was still gassing off after a month. My lungs and face were burning from it. The IRIS boxes are not water proof because there is a hole to put the sliders on therefore the HD file boxes are the best choice.

I love the Staples heavy-duty storage boxes. I've been using them for years. Sturdy has handles for easy carrying. My favorite storage box.

I got these boxes to store big heavy books. The books fit in the space well and the boxes stack easily and will not crush. The boxes came flattened and were very easy to put together. Definitely would recommend if you need to store heavy items.
