But pay attention!!!!!! there is so much upward pressure on the handle that if you don't 'control' the leaver after the punch it comes up with to much speed/force and things get out of place making it unusable until you figure out where things are supposed to be. Other than that we like it.

My last hole punch kept jamming so I upgraded to this. It's more than I wanted to spend on office supplies however it works much better than my other one (around 25 dollar). It easily handled punching through stacks of paper for over a hour of continuous use.

Was thinking of getting the one I normally get; a less expensive punch which always jams or makes the holes askew and decided to "splurge" on this one. I didn't have the problems of the bottom coming off spilling the hole remains all over the work area; all pages had the holes aligned properly; didn't need to empty the unit after the first three hundred pages; not one jam; and unit was effortless to use. I got commercial use out of the personal product. Folds away nicely for storage yet is large enough not to need searching for when needed next time. highly recommend.
