They hold my papers together better than metal finish paperclips. And you can color code your papers with the colored paperclips.

This is a GREAT alternative to using the color-coated Post-It tape note thingies and at a tiny fraction of the price.

I started to buy these several years ago when the uncoated paper clip size we normally use was not available. My people originally didn't like the idea of coated paper clips. Coated paper clips are all they accept now.
