Clips fine (mostly) packaging not

The clips are fine (hard to mess them up). The round plastic holder contains 6 colors of clips...sort-of. That's where this loses one star as one of the compartments contains plain non-coated clips. So 1/6 of these Jumbo Vinyl Coated Paper Clips are not actually vinyl coated. The other star is lost because of the container itself. Of the two I ordered one had split open spilling out the paper clips. The design itself has you tearing off the top in a way that you can't re-close it. Not a problem...unless it gets jostled in a drawer. Bottom line: Perfectly functional but 1/6 are not vinyl coated and the packaging is not great.

Different colors different prices?

Paperclips are paperclips. We go through them at a furious rate around here. When I went to buy more I found a most curious thing. The ones in the colors I like (bright citrus colors) cost 25% more than the primary colored ones. It's unlikely that it costs that much or any more to manufacture them. This is taking what the market will bear to a new level. I bought the primary colored ones but was annoyed. Over paperclips.

Use about 300 paper clips about every 3 (three) months or so to put papers together for my husband.

Great color choices with even plastic coating. Plus the colors stay separated since the divider walls reach to the top. Also the lids fits back on container after opening for easy storage or transport. The container is durable and does not wear out.

Love the Vinyl Coating

We use A LOT of paper clips here at my company and these are the most preferred. The vinyl coating makes it more durable and secure and the colors are great. I am a little OCD about my office supplies so having the colors separated is the best thing ever!
