Staples 4-drawer file cabinet at the Alexandria VA Store 741 was the last available one in a 200-mile range but just 2 miles from where it was needed. Being a floor model it had some wear and no key for the lock but for our purposes it was workable to urgently store archived files that needed ready access. Thanks to the Staples.com website that announced this availability.

Staple Vertical File Cabinet Review

I ordered this cabinet online it arrived dented on both sides. I returned the item by taking it to my local Staples. I wanted to purchase the same cabinet on display was told that it had to be ordered. Picked the cabinet up a few days later opened box and home and this time it was damaged with dents on front and sides. I called the 1 800 number and asked for a credit of $60 because I don't want to hassle going back to return again. Since it's in my garage I'm not as picky. My suggestion is open the box at the store if you order it. I was told that cabinets have a high rate of return because of damage.

Filing cabinet

I have had 2 filing cabinets for years. This one cabinet holds as much as the other two cabinets together. It is very sturdy. I like this new cabinet very much. It is as sturdy as the ones used in offices.

Perfect for my office needs!

Easy to order and pick up at MY convenience or get it delivered. Color matches old file cabinets in office. Easy to move and put in place. Lock works well. Looks nice and doesn't distract in small office space. Perfect size for office. I shopped around and this was the best value for the price. They even took a coupon for percentage off that I had. I love working with Staples for all of my office needs. I work for a non-profit so price is important and they always give me the no-tax rate for my non-profit.
