After many (40+) years post an Air Force career I found I had to have a way to sort all of the paper work I had. I went to the local Staples and found a 4 drawer file cabinet the looked like just the thing. The salesman saw that I had arrived in a sedan and no way was I going to get it in the car with three people. He told me they would deliver at no charge and sold it to me on the spot. A couple of days later it showed up in a large cardboard box. We unpacked the cabinet put it next to the desk ask it was perfect. The drawers slide in and out so smoothly the files fit perfectly and I have enough space for all kinds of odds and ends. This is probably the smartest and best purchase I've ade in the last twenty years. Anyone needing to sort and keep files can't go wrong with the 4 drawer file cabinet from Staples.

The cabinet is basic in its construction. The drawers do not have sliding dividers but have wire inserts.

The quality of the new file cabinet is inferior to the old file cabinet I replaced it with like comparing aluminum foil to steel. I purchased the new one because I needed a file cabinet that locks. Definitely a lower quality product.

I ordered the 4-drawer locking file cabinet and received it undamaged and in great time. The drawers have a lot of storage room. I can now feel relieved that I am helping to keep my private files confidential with the lock.

Extremely rickety and cheesy compared to other filing cabinets of similar cost. Not Heavy duty and I am guessing this is for an extremely low level home office and not a commercial venue. Metal is really thin and bends when you push it with your finger. I feel I got over sized toy box that can't hold all the toys a regular toy box can! This is definitely a beginners file cabinet for sure. Overall it locks and holds 1/2 of what it should be capable of holding.
