A sturdy built cabinet with easy slide drawer. Easily accessible files. Secure tamper proof lock. Fits well in the space allotted. Functional.

Good product for the home office

After looking at several vertical file cabinets on line I thought the best deal for my use was this particular file to fit my needs. I wanted a cabinet that was four drawers high in the realm of 27" deep and letter style. The area I was putting this file in was a little less than 24" wide so this was just the right fit. It took a little experimenting to find the right maneuver to remove the drawers for easier transport to its final resting spot once I had it in the house. I could not find any directions to perform this task. The file "followers" that keep the files upright are a poor design.

4-drawer locking file cabinet

I've had the second group weigh=in and they felt it was on the cheap side. They told me they feel they'll have to fill it from the bottom up so it won't tip being top-heavy. The lock part works well and it came unscratched. Guess it may not have been the great deal I thought...

I really like the fact that the drawers slide easily and extend all the way out. The one I've been using only extended 3/4 of the way and that either hurt my hands trying to find things in the rear or just not using the entire drawer.

Cabinet is fine but if you are an older person buying this for your home beware that it is delivered to your front door. You need to be prepared to move it to the indoor location you selected and remove extensive packing. Not a regular furniture delivery. They gave me a two day range in which the cabinet would be delivered then I was told it would come on Friday before 6pm. Then on Thursday I received a text that it was out for delivery. I called and learned that a contractor was delivering it and they were not able to say anything more definite. Thursday afternoon I received a text message that it had been delivered and I opened my door and saw I very large box.
