Poorly constructed file cabinet

The first file cabinet I bought was defective: the top drawer's side rails were not parallel. when loaded the files were crooked listing to one side. I asked Staples to replace it and they did . The second one is okay; the files are even. But the top drawer doesn't close properly. This file cabinet is not well made; I was willing to pay for a better constructed cabinet but Staples does not appear to have one.

This is the perfect height and weight for my home office and the color (cream) makes it unobtrusive. The deep drawers hold a lot.

I purchased a different unit than this one that arrived damaged. Since the original file cabinet was no longer available this was Staples suggested replacement. This file cabinet was more expensive than the previous as well. After having to pay more and setting the unit up I found that the drawers need to be closed perfectly to lock the cabinet. I find that I have to lean the side of my body to put pressure on all four drawers in order for it to lock. I miss going to a brick and mortar store to see items physically before deciding to buy them.

Delivery was good Product works as expected It took some effort to change delivery date after I ordered and paid at the local store I had to call several times but eventually customer service was able to change the delivery date
