I had been looking for quite some time for a file cabinet and when this one went on sale I was quick to scoop it up. I have to say I was very surprised at the quality of the cabinet. It is not flimsy at all - extremely durable and I would compare it to the HON brand (but for much less). If I'm ever in need of another file cabinet I would definitely order another one of these.

Staples 4-Drawer Letter Size Vertical Cabinet

I replaced a 40 year old 2-drawer vertical file cabinet with this one. The old 2-drawer cabinet weighted as much as the new 4-drawer cabinet. The old cabinet used thicker sheet metal and metal rollers on the drawers. The new one is much lighter (good & bad) and uses plastic rollers. There isn't anything wrong with the new cabinet and probably will last just as long - it is just a much lighter weight cabinet.

After buying one online (from another company) and returning it because it was damaged. I was thrilled to get my cabinet from staples without any damage and the drawers opened very smoothly. Better price than the first one too. So win/win hopefully it should last for many years.
