Product damaged but not the box

Recently your firm delivered a 4 drawer file cabinet to my in-laws residence. After opening the box containing the cabinet we found that the cabinet was extremely dented and damaged yet the box had no sign of any damage? While you replaced the cabinet the next day I just wondered . . . was the cabinet damaged at the plant and then boxed that way????? Just curious

Top drawer is difficult to close and once shut will not latch. Found broken spring in bottom of drawer. Box banged up when delivered and there is a dent on one side of the filing cabinet. I am not happy with this filing cabinet.

I am an Enrolled Agent Tax Preparer and have about 20 file cabinets in my office. I ordered 3 of the cabinets for some older files and did not expect them to be of the good quality that they are. These are good for archive files as well as everyday use. I will buy these again when more cabinets are needed. Thank you Staples for having these in stock and for the speedy delivery.
