Black File Cabinet

This file cabinet is ok except for the partition system. The cabinet is not completely full so every time I pull from the back of a drawer the metal partition rod pops out of its slots and falls. Then I have to hold everything in place while trying to replace the partition rod. It's very aggravating. Otherwise the cabinet is fine. I would not reorder another one though because of the partition system.

Lightweight yet sturdy. No need for hardwear to hang pendiflex folders. The rims built into the cabinet hold up the folders. Roomy and attractive.

I am very satisfied with the filing cabinet. I especially like the fact that the racks are no longer need to hang file folders. I have had them in the past and they are a pain.

I purchased 2 faux wood files online with Staples and ended up Donated them .. Goodness just the amount of labor to put them together Was an ordeal and also the backing is so flimsy on your faux wood 5 drawer file cabinets that I ended up donating them ( which was a huge waste ). I then turned around and got the black metal file cabinet for my home office I really don’t like it but it fits and is sturdy - I have 3 in other locations while I am partial to the wood and wish I could purchase them in the Staples store . This has always been my go to file cabinet for a sturdier feel …. Thank You Staples -

The first one I ordered had a small dent and a wobble to it. I ordered a second one to compare the two. It turns out that the second one had dance the size of a fist in parts of it maybe four of them. And it was also extremely off balance. So I returned that one and kept the first one because I didn't wanna keep going back-and-forth. The drawers do open smoothly so that part is nice. But overall it's not what I wanted. It was just too much work to do it a third time
