I bought this for business use but it's very lightweight not super rigid construction. It was almost half the cost of the sturdier models so if you need something that will support heavier files I would go for one of those. For our use this was a good value.

It has all the key features you'd expect such as a lock and easy-glide drawers that open and close smoothly. It will work well for your home and/or small-business. We placed ours in our home office inside a closet where it fit easily so we could store it out-of-sight and out of the way. We're very happy with this unit.

I bought the file cabinet for a dresser for my two lazy pre-teen boys that like to shove their Clothes in their drawers. In the past four years I have bought them 2 sets of dressers/chest and the dressers/chest always seem to fall apart Spending a lot of money. Of course you think the more money you spend the stronger the furniture. Not true. my boys seem to break them down. So with file cabinets I find it to be sturdier and stronger. My kids can stuff all they want in them. More space and cabinets take up less space.
