The bottom of the filing cabinet was seriously dented. I just kept it because it was too much of a hassle to return it.

Replaced a staples file cabinet with a new unit. This unit is not as good as the old one due to cheaper materials and thinner material. It does hold files however. This would make it a four star however delivery cost it a full star. The delivery person pulled the cabinet long ways thru the front door. The packaged unit is 36 1/2 inches wide and he made it fit thru a 36 inch door - pulling off part of the weather strip in the process. This is especially worrisome as he was asked to rotate the cabinet first. His response was to just look at the door and pull it thru anyway. The file cabinet was not damaged but he didn't know or care - he dropped it in the middle of the floor and left. wouldn't wait for it to be checked - but store policy does not make him responsible for damage to the unit. you must work with someone else to get damaged units fixed or replaced. I had to fix the door seals myself - actually preferable to the delivery people.
