The file cabinet arrived on time without any damages. I was concerned by multiple comments of damage of varying degrees and was relived there were none. I have given the unit only four stars since I have used it for about a week.

As good as you can get

We all know they don't make things like they used to but that being said this file cabinet is sturdy. In comparing it to the 70-year-old one it sits beside there is no comparison to thickness of the steel or overall solid feel of the drawers but I don't know if such a file cabinet is available at even ten times the price today except perhaps at an antique store.

Since our school closed due to the Corona Virus I have a lot of time on my hands to organize my office room and teaching files and books. I ordered this cabinet and it was promptly delivered to my front porch. It's just what I ordered but I have one complaint. The drawers don't open completely so I can access the back third of the drawer contents. I'm not sure if the description mentioned this fact but I missed that information. I'm keeping the cabinet anyway and I guess I'll deal with muscling the back of the drawers when I need those files.
