Once I got it home and took it out of the box I realized that it was dented in on both sides in the back of it. The box was not damaged just the cabinet.

Great File Cabinet for the Clothes Closet

There aren't too many good 4 drawer File cabinets that fit inside a bifold clothes closet which are usually 23-24 inches deep minus the floor board trim. After reading various reviews I'm glad I chose Staples 4 Drawer 22 inch deep Vertical File cabinet in Putty. Price included free shipping and arrived in two days after ordering in local Staples store. Package protection inside box could be better as it did have minor dent on the left side. Due to the nature of bifold doors with interlocking metal clips at the bottom for closing took a vibrating saw and cut out the rear floor trim moulding which gave 1-1/2" clearance. Now my file sits flush against the back wall of the closet. Once I put files or weight into the file cabinets the cabinets glide smoothly and clicks shut by momentum. The cabinets are about 80% full extension probably for safety. One key locks all drawers shut and the thumb latches works well. Overall a great file cabinet/organizer/storage. Ken T
