Good Economical File Cabinet

For the price this is a good quality file cabinet. Drawers open and close smoothly. I put this in my closet and the putty color blends well with the white organizers in my closet. I'll probably order another once I get my Staples rewards from this purchase.

The filing cabinet is not as substantial as I expected. Once I considered the price I realized that I got what I paid for. Its a totally acceptable filing solution but if you want a more polished solution then spend more money.

The file cabinet is well built but my only complaint is that the instructions say it has a feature that prevents two drawers being open at the same time a safety feature to prevent tipping over but my unit allows me to open all four drawers! I suspect this may be a flaw of some kind but it should be looked into for future customers who may have kids or pets! When I worked in major companies back in the day (I'm retired) all file cabinets had that safety interlock system that prevented two drawers being opened at the same time. If this is a flaw and if it's not a serious concern for you then I would recommend this unit!

We were very happy with the perfect condition that the file cabinet was in when we received it. My husband had been skeptical to ordering this after reading other reviews that people had received them damaged. That was not the case for us! We are extremely happy with this cabinet!
