the drawers have ball bearings making it smoothe to open & close. Plus there are locks for security. Just the right size & depth. Not too deep.

Saw many reviews for different online retailers for file cabinets delivered damaged. Mine was delivered in perfect condition. All drawers and the lock work fine. Not a super-robust file cabinet but for personal use and with a good price on sale I'm a happy customer.
