quality file cabinet

Just finished changing over my files to my new file cabinet from my old beaten flimsy sets which I had had for years. I'm so glad to have a sturdy good looking highly functional four drawer file cabinet. The only thing I would change would be to make the drawers removable for cleaning etc. Otherwise I'm totally pleased with my Staples file cabinet. The putty color blends in nicely next to my natural finish pine table/desk that is in my home office next to the cabinet.

I waited weeks for Staples to get the 26" file cabinet in but finally couldn't wait any longer so took the 22". Got it home with some help and in the house only to unpack it and find that the third drawer down was dented in 2 places. I wanted to return it but would have to get help again to repack and load in the vehicle so decided to just keep it and try to straighten the dents. With some clamps I was able to partially straighten the top of the drawer but the bottom dent was nothing I could fix so just stuck with a damaged file cabinet. I would not buy anything like this again without the store unpacking it and confirming that it is at least not damaged. Not really a happy camper but when you are a 70 year old lady you just don't go picking up a 4 drawer cabinet and returning it. Will just live with it.

It will do but if I had seen it in person so to speak I would not have bought it. It is tinny and thinly walled and wobbly; drawers are not reinforced; it has a thin metal rod rather than an adjustable support shelf to hold files in place etc. However it fits in my space and I'll live with it. Sorry.

The cabinet arrived on the day I was told it would come. It arrived in perfection condition. I am pleased with it. I just need the proper folders to use with the cabinet. The color and size was exactly what I ordered.
