Staples Inkjet Business Cards
on January 20, 2011

I use these for my business cards that require a color logo. Colors come out bright and true. I also use them for labeling doors for showings of my listings (I'm a Realtor). Why pay for name brand products if the store brand is just as good?

Staples Inkjet business cards

Bought the Staples cards for personal use because they were less expensive. Cards did not separate crisply. Did not line up well. Buy Avery - they always work well at work.

Terrible Edges!
on December 23, 2010

I thought I'd save a few dollars buying the Staples brand (vs. the Avery). Big mistake! The edges were not clean-cut & very difficult to tear apart. Did not look very professional. Took them back & bought the Avery. World of difference - worth the higher price tag!

Just as good as the brand-name product

If you wear many hats and need a calling card for each one this is your product. the paper is bright and heavy. Don't go for any of the flimsier ones. Also perfect for art exhibition wall cards. One downer is having to print whole sheets at a time which can waste a lot. No way around that I suppose. I recommend printing test sheets first to check alignment of type with the card fields. I found getting it spot on to be a bit of a challenge.

As good as any DIY card stock

Made a very professional-looking card until I separated them. The resulting card was obviously perforated and not suitable for use in a really professional situation.
