Were mine faulty?

I liked the template and instructions that came with the business cards. But I was so disappointed after I printed them and could not get them to tear apart cleanly. The outer edges broke away clean and I thought the inside lines would be of the same quality. I was sorely disappointed. I won't purchase these again.

Great inkjet business cards

These cards come apart very easily. Just bend and they are apart with no tears or paper left behind. They look crisp and professional.

Best Value When Your Message Changes
on October 19, 2012

Great value for personal and professional use. I change the message on my cards frequently so printing by the 100s isn't a good option. Printing 10-20 at a time on an inkjet is much more economical. They tear easily after folding a couple of times. An occasional "tag" that remains is easy to pick off. B&W or color text and color images (logo clip art) show up well. Not so good for a high res photo but that's not an intended use. If things settle down there's the Staples Copy and Print Center for slick sharp-edged cards. Until then these are optimal.
I came in to Staples because of their excellent reputation and ability to handle my business needs. However I won't be getting anything done at Staples anymore. I brought in a business card that the staff was going to re-create and then print. I was told that the designers Would have the draft Completed and then I would hear from someone in two days at the most. It took four days for me to be able to get anyone on the phone to ask about the draft. I was told that there was an error with the email Queue and then they sent the draft to me right away. After that I made one change and was told it was easy and wouldn't take more than a day for the change. No one called or emailed me so I called back again. I was told that may take two days for the change. Finally I called back again and could not reach the printing staff member who could help me so I left a message but never connected with her. In all fairness she did call me however I was not available to answer the phone. The thing is is I tried to call back and was then on hold for at least 25 minutes at which point I hung up and brought the draft to another printer who had the cards for me the next day with no issues at all.I do think that everyone at Staples is trying to do a good job and at no point was only one rude to me but they just couldn't get the job done. If they had told me it would take a week I probably would've still with the card there . It was too time consuming to get the job done. Staples is not around the corner from where I live so it was not a possibility for me to keep driving down there to resolve the issue. It's too bad because Staples is usually excellent but I am running a business and I have to use another printer for my cards and flyers so that I can be sure to get them when I need them. I found a place closer to my home however I was willing to go to Staples which is a little further because of their reputation. My recommendation is that if you are using staples to assume that it will take twice as long as you need and then you will be OK.

Staples Inkjet Business Cards - good
on March 6, 2015

The Staples Inkjet Business Cards were a good choice for my Inkjet Printer. I am using them with Print Shop Deluxe 3.5 software. The printing on the Business Cards were clear and crisp. There was no problem feeding into the printer or printing out. The ink dried very quickly on the Business Cards. I did have a problem with lining up the printing on the Business Cards but I think that the problem was with my printer not the Staples Inkjet Business Cards. The Business Cards were very easily separated off the sheet.

They work well for some things but not as good a quality as the name brand. They do not separate as cleanly and have a ruff texture.
