I know that whatever I store in the Ziploc bag will stay safe until I need it! I am old enough to remember the days before the introduction of secure Ziploc closures. Those were the days of inevitable leaks and messes to clean up ( often accompanied by questionable language)

These are great. They are big enough for everything that i want to put in them and they last a good amount of time in the fridge, freezer, or pantry. I love the double zipper ones the best because you know they are sealed tight.

When it comes to putting leftover stew and such in the freezer these give me peace of mind that it will remain in the container. Also wonderful for giving cookies to my mom where I not easily get a plate or such back. Convenience it's the game and these are the winner.

I use to buy generic bags and well it is not worth it. Generic brands sizing is a bit off... smaller compared to Ziploc. Yes these are more expensive than generic or store brand, but they don't fail. Ziploc are easy to open, stay closed, and work greater in the freezer. I like to marinade with these gallon bags, just be careful with sharp bones, they have and can poke a hole. But in general, these are my favorite bags for marinade.
