Tab rips off when you try to open! So frustrating.

I'm a pretty loyal Ziploc customer but these new "easy open tabs" seem to be super-glued shut (I'm exaggerating). When I grab a new bag and try to open it (with the same strength/force as the "old design" bags) it doesn't open and I end up unintentionally ripping the tab off ala the Incredible Hulk. It's infuriating. Please fix this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ziploc has always been trustworthy and their quality still excels with their line of storage bags. The bags are high density and thick enough to hold any solids or liquids securely. The seal of these bags are easy to close and hold securely under pressure and you will definitely know when they are closed. The bags are top notch and you can't go wrong with purchasing Ziploc.

The gallon size is way bigger than the regular sandwich ones. These are the perfect size for leftover salad greens or a carton of fruit. These bags helped save my foods from spoiling, as keeps them fresher for just a bit longer than usual! They're super easy to use and the press seal keep items secure with a tight fit. You can practically use these for anything else too, not just food. I would recommend Ziploc over any other brand for this type of product.

The stay open design isn't the best. it doesn't stay open like the photo shows. I would still purchase and use it like a regular storage bag.

I buy boxes Ziplock bags in bulk & I keep several sizes of Ziplock bags on hand at all times. I recently began using a new 1 gallon size of bags and I had several messes to clean up before I realized the bags were not closing properly. I realize errors happen. My complaint is that I look on this website and I can't find a place to directly complain to the company. Something is wrong in the manufacturing process of the gallon bags and needs to be corrected. I opened another box (that so far is fine) to use but the rest of this box of 38 is probably going to be trashed.
