As a former biology teacher, I remember when an 8 1/2" X 11" sheet of paper would fit nicely into a 1 gallon Ziploc bag...this was great for messy experiments and keeping lab papers dry. I've been an administrator for the past 18 years and someplace in that time the 1 gallon bag changed! WHY?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is great that they stay open while you're filling them, and they are thick enough to protect what you put inside. The only thing I disliked was the box was not easy to open and tour when I was trying to open along the perforated lines I would buy these again.

I detest the new Ziploc Easy Open bags.They are difficult to close. The top of the bag rips or tear more than half the time when opening. I have only purchased Ziploc bags in the past for their quality and reliability. I buy from a warehouse club with limited choices and will now be changing to another brand once these are gone.

Ziploc Bags Never Disappoint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Ziploc gallon bags with Stay Open Design for pouring all my leftover soups in without worrying about spilling. I also like to use these bags for marinading my meat and it makes it easy to pour the marinade and add the meat without having to fight to keep the bag open on the counter! The only downside is that I wish these bags had the slider to help seal the bags shut.

These are clearly the winners as per the quality of purser the quantity is not as much when compared to other brands. They hold up very good whether it's liquid or solids. Easily closable, holds very good amount. I would like to but these but only constraints are quantity and price
