Ziploc bags are a great alternative to Tupperware. You must work your product for easier filling and labeling. Look to expanding to gift bags and prestenciled bags with names like meat, veggies, etc. imagine Xmas wrapping with a zip for those hard to wrap items.

The gallon storage is perfect to use for travel. I use mine to store the liquid products during travel so if something happens to leak, it stays in the Ziploc bag and doesn't leak on my dry items. The plastic sturdy and the top of the bag seals completely and you can hear it slide together.

Ziploc is the only brand I buy for plastic bags - you just can't go generic, gotta go name brand for these. I use these all the time for leftovers, marinading, etc.

It's been a little while since I bought Ziploc brand bags and I wasn't disappointed. I really love the new state open design, and the fact that the bag will stand up by themselves. I found that they work really well for putting marinade in with proteins, it made for easy cleanup, and was not messy. I'm also impressed with the sturdy design and being able to reuse them.
