Great storage bags!

There's two specific things I really like about them. 1. The top edge of the bag is textured, so when you grasp it to pull open the zipper, your fingers don't slip. This can be helpful if your hands are wet from cooking or crafting or whatever. 2. The bottom of the bag is designed to sit squarely on the counter so it stands up and stays open while you fill it! This is ingenious and will prevent those super annoying spills.

Ziploc bags are the best but this concept falls short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ziploc brand storage bags are always my go-to when I need to freeze anything. The plastic is thick, doesn't tear or rip and keeps the item in good condition whenever its needed. This product with the stay open design falls short in my opinion. It's a good concept, however in practice, the bags aren't any different than the regular Ziploc freezer bags. There is a band of thicker plastic at the top but they don't expand significantly, nor "stay open" when filled. I had several pork chops I wanted to drop in and the bags had to be held when filled and without being propped in some way, they would fall over. I would still recommend Ziploc bags to anyone, however unless there is more design tweaking, I don't know that I would buy these particular ones.

LEAKS!!!

We use this bag for freezing meat and fresh vegetables as well as for marinating meat. The bags seal well but leak on the corners. The last box we purchased EVERY bag has leaked. I would expect this from generic brands but NOT from ziploc. We purchase ziploc for the quality and have been extremely disappointed. I understand one or two bags possibly having this issue but not every bag we have used.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I made a salad and was able to pour the dressing without any hassle of holding the bag open at the same time. The gallon size can hold a lot, it's perfect for marinating meat and storing food away. The only thing I would change is the thickness of the bag, it feels a bit flimsy. It holds well though, so I'll have to see how long it can be kept. I would recommend and will purchase again in the future!

I hate the new easy open tabs! They are very difficult to open and usually result in the tab tearing off and being left with a bag that is unusable. These are a horrible design!

Another good ziploc

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ziploc is the best brand for baggies always. I like the new stay open design because you can pour liquids or whatever in there straight from the pan without having to scoop it up. It comes in handy and It's a very good edition to a regular ziploc.
