[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through a sample review program. My wife and I use ziploc bags for just about everything. We have a large family, so we buy food in bulk and freeze it. I was excited to try this new design that stands up on its own, making it easier to fill. We typically freeze meats, vegetables, and soups on occasion. Using this design made it very easy to work with the food to divide portions. I simply set up a row of ziploc bags on the counter, and started filling them. There was no mess and no fuss. Brilliant! It did ok with liquid. The seal was firm and secure, but I did have to hold the bag while filling it with liquid. The sides just weren't rigid enough to stand on its own with liquid inside. I will definitely be purchasing these in the future!

Worst bags ever. Can't open it without the easy open strip tearing off. Every single bag out of the box is ripped before I even get it open to use it. Horrible idea. Plastic isn't strong enough to open the zipper. Very disappointed.

i am super disappointed with this version of the Ziploc bag. For every bag i have used the easy open tab has torn when i open it more than once. This then makes them hard to open because there is nothing to grip. Good idea but not good execution

Newly designed bags, especially the 1 and 2 gallon sizes, rip while opening, won't reseal tightly, rip easily along the sides, and leak. The old bags could be opened again and again and reused multiple times. Bring back the old design bags.
