I've used six bags (out of 38) and each one ripped at the top when I opened them. The pink strip just rips right down the center. Even if I open slowly. What a waste of bags!! I don't buy other brands because they don't usually seal as easily. Now I'm stuck with these not "easy open tabs" - but very easy ripping tabs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Got a chance to try out this new Ziploc storage bag and it definitely doesn't disappoint me. With new design, it makes easy to filling while keeping the food fresh and securely. Besides food, I also use Ziploc bags for other things like keeping the kid's stationaries organized. Can do so much more with a Ziploc bag!

Definitely not air tight. Food gets stall quicker. Not water tight like they once were. Can't use when camping to keep food dry in ice chest.
