I normally opt for slider style bags, but these grip'n seal bags are just as easy to open and close with the tab on top. The standing option for easy filling isn't something I'll use often, but comes in handy when alone in the kitchen and need to pour a cream or liquid into the bag

Extremely disappointed long time customer

I always have Ziploc brand bags (freezer, sandwich, and storage) on hand, so I bought an 80-count of the storage bags and I have to say I'm disappointed. It's extremely difficult to open without tearing. I thought it was just me on the first bag but my boyfriend and daughter had the same issue with other bags. So now I have to be very careful opening the bags and even then they still tear. It's ridiculous! One of the ways I use it is to store dry cat food and have my kids be responsible for feeding our cats. Well this is not going to be pretty every time they have to open the bag. Not sure what happened to the quality of these bags but it makes me not want to buy Ziploc brand again.

Tops rip too easily

Can only open the bags once. Can't do it twice because, chances are, you've ripped the tops off leaving nothing to grab. Why are the bags so cheap now?

The opening tabs easily tear when trying to open

These bags are terrible. Do not buy. Bag after bag, the tabs that you use to open the bags tear more often than not. I will not buy these again.

I love that it stays open for easy filling when I'm storing my leftovers. I also like the grip n seal technology, it's easy to open and close. Love that BPA and phthalates free.
