Out of all the bag brands, I prefer these to store frozen items and marinade. The seal is thick and never leaks, plus they are affordable. I freeze everything from sectioned cuts of meat, to sauces and these bags never fail me. I don't know a household that doesn't used these bags!

I use the gallon (larger sizes too) ziplock bags to store my knitted projects to prevent them from being snagged during storage, accidental spills while traveling. Have used them to carry works in process and the bags hold up to the challenge. Of course they are great for storing food or any other item you choose.

Ziploc bags are great for storing everything from food to toys and makeup. Inuse them for freezing meat like chicken and steak because they stay sealed and do a good job of keeping freezer burn away. They also don't buat or break. They are easy to close up and have a nice spot to write on to label and date. A must have in the kitchen.
