This is a very nice matte finish cover. The poly-like cover is thinner than the regular marbled cover. It is solid in color so easier to use markers for labeling and decorating. The down side is the cover would take your arm to keep it open as it bounces back easily. Should stand up to the in out of the book bag routine. Matte finish is a plus!

This is a great notebook. I can make notes and file my documents. I love the pockets to add pens extra paper. The cover front poly composition notebook back helps to maintain the longer use of this notebook folder. The color is bright so it stands out among my other notebook. The wide line on each page makes writing ease. The number of pages in this notebook is great for the price I paid. The divider makes it easy to use for different task. I can also store my pens in the pockets. This is the first time I have purchase a poly composition notebook. I plan on going back and getting more poly composition notebooks but in different colors. I did buy this for notes but plan on using it as my ever day notes keeper. I will return and purchase 2 more for church and bible study. I would like to get Red and Blue at this price cannot beat. This would also be great for school age and college kids. I thank I will purchase one for my grandson and daughter for the upcoming school year. I also took my notebook to my job at brake time someone ask where I purchased it from I said staples and you they could not believe the price so hopeful they will also stop by and purchase a notebook. I have purchase other composition notebooks in the pass and the front and back cover were paper and they did not last long at all. I would still have lost of paper but not front or back cover. I am hoping that this Poly composition will last and I will be able to use all the paper and still have the front and back cover. This poly composition notebook will get lots of use every day. I have use this now for a week and I love the size not to big not too small. I love that I can add tab to separate my notes. Just an example I was call to a meeting and the first thing I grab was my new Poly Composition Notebook before I would have to take my legal pad which has no front cover and a paper back cover. Once the meeting was over I would have to tear off the pages and place them in a folder for safe keep. With my new poly composition notebook I can just leave my notes and just add a tab for further referenced. I love my Poly Composition Notebook..
