The only comment I have is that the plastic cover when bent creases and makes the plastic warp a bit. It's a notebook though so I expect it to get trashed in time.

My church does a Golden Rule project each fall to start underprivileged school children off to a good start. Our church supplies the list of items to put in the book bags for each child/grade level. All ages/grades are included. I chose two kindergarten children - one boy and one girl - to supply. I waited for different sales at Staples to get the most for my money. This item (notebook) was one of the things that I needed for the kids' book bags. Apparently children are not allowed to use spiral notebooks in school as this was explicitly noted.
