Labels & plastic tabs

The labels should not be glossy. One should be able to write with any pen and not have it smear. The plastic tabs do not secure the labels. I had to use tabs that came with Pendaflex folders to keep labels in place.
These hold a lot and are pretty sturdy. The plastic-ish construction means they don't tear as easily as the card stock versions and I like that the hangers can be pushed back into the file folder when you need to carry a file but then pulled out to put back in the drawer. Better than I expected!
I am retired and belong to a number of clubs and some of the papers that need to be kept stored or used are not letter or legal size they are smaller. With the hanging folders having the according short sides it allows me to place small papers in with the rest of the file it belongs to & not have to staple them together or have a bunch of paperclips that catch onto other sheets.
I thought I was purchasing colored hanging files. Instead I don't know what I have. I do not understand the purpose for these. I have already caused three to become unglued. They are very difficult to put in a file cabinet. Doesn't hold regular files... Please instruct me on how they should be used. Then maybe I will change my mind.
I LIKE THAT THEY ARE DURABLE CONSTRUCTION BUT THE SIDES COME IN TOO FAR AND THEY ARE HARD TO GET FILES IN AND OUT OF THEM I LIKE THE DIFFERENT COLORS I WISH THERE WERE MORE COLORS TO CHOOSE FROM
