These hanging folders expand approximately 3 inches to hold a your big stuff. Wish I had known about these a long time ago.

For my file the hangers were just slightly too narrow to rest on the frame so I had to make attachments which I hope will hold. Would have returned them but had tried a different modification on one which did not work.

Like the colors and the plastic tabs

Great color and easy to add tab to organize. The plastic tabs that are the hanger piece slide in and out as needed. I really like that they are plastic and they won't mar up the black paint on my rolling cart that I am using them with. Easily expandable and fold back up as needed seem to be very sturdy and each folder holds a ton of photos and documents. Currently using them to organize photos.

I bought these for my mom who has recently moved to an independent living apartment. I thought the expandable files would work well in her more limited space. Sadly the plastic adjustable tabs do not stay at the width you need sliding back and forth much too easily and the material is so stiff that it doesn't compress when not full as I hoped it would. I'll be returning the unopened packages and replacing them with something else.
