These expanding file folders are wide enough to hold an entire year of tax paperwork and receipts. I was able to fit 10 years' worth in one file box. I no longer have a huge stack of boxes next to my desk.

Folders are sturdy but holds retract easily so they don’t stay in place so folders fall forward or back with ease. I like these for their durability but issue with retractable hooks needs to be corrected.

Staples Poly Expanding Hanging File Jackets

These are perfect - and colorful too - for organizing my piles of important documents paid bills contracts health records etc. It's exciting to realize that when I'm done I'll be able to find everything about an account in a single file jacket. And for lots of my 'stuff' I can clean out the jackets at the end of the year and re-use the jacket for the current year's items. Nice.

If possible I would rate a 4.75! The folder structure is unsurpassed because they're sturdy plastic and do not rip like paper expanding file folders. Being able to retract the hangers is a nifty concept if you want to remove the file from cabinet storage and take it elsewhere. However the only area that needs improvement are these retractable hangers because there's too much wiggle room while expanded and hanging from a file rack/rod since they do not lock in place they tend slide left to right then slip away from the file rack. Wish List: Sold in packs with 1 color choice vs. multi-colors.
